Welcome to Angwin . . .
. . . a forested village of some 3,000 persons on Howell Mountain, overlooking Northern California’s famous Napa Valley, about 70 miles north of San Francisco. The Angwin Community Council serves the community by
- Studying and discussing with citizens and then seeking resolution to challenges that either positively or negatively affect the Angwin community.
- Giving support and direction to the Angwin Volunteer Fire Department, the largest volunteer fire department in Napa County, and fostering the life-saving work of the all-volunteer Angwin Ambulance Company.
- Developing and leading community-wide projects that improve and enhance the quality of life in Angwin.
- Representing Angwin village and its citizens before the Napa County Board of Supervisors, the county Planning Commission, and other governmental agencies.
Angwin Community Council meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Angwin Fire House, 275 College Avenue. All Angwin residents and visitors welcome.
